A Local Home Services Company Built Around The Repair List Most Homeowners Keep Putting Off

We Honey Do is a Washington home services company that has served the Puget Sound area since 2007. The company works from local offices and takes on grouped repair, maintenance and finish work for homes and managed properties, with selected kitchen and bathroom remodeling handled as a separate planned scope.

The company started because of a gap the founders kept running into after years in the trades: plenty of contractors would take a large remodel, and almost nobody wanted the list of eight small things a homeowner had been putting off. Small jobs got declined, rescheduled or quoted as though they were remodels. We Honey Do was built to take that list seriously, with the same licensing, scoping and crew standards a larger project would get.

The name says the rest. Household tasks need attention, and they do not always get it. Sending the list to a licensed crew is the point of the service.

More than 50,000 customers later, the work has not changed and neither has the way it is handled. Every request is reviewed before it is scheduled. Scope goes in writing before a crew is assigned. When a request falls outside what a licensed general contractor should perform, the office says so and points to the right specialist rather than taking the job anyway.

Scope first, then the work

Every request is reviewed before it is scheduled. That review is what keeps a repair list honest, and it is also how we stay inside the trades a licensed general contractor is permitted to perform.

Meet the company behind the repair list

Group the work instead of chasing four trades

Most calls start as a list rather than a single job. Send the whole list with photographs and the office reviews whether the items fit one scope or need separate phases. Grouping the work is the point of the service. It is not a promise that every item will be accepted.

Nothing starts before the scope is approved

The office confirms what was found, what will be done and what stays out of scope. That written scope is what the crew works from, and it is what the customer approves before scheduling.

We say what we do not do

Regulated electrical work, plumbing beyond minor in-scope work and other specialty trades are coordinated with the properly licensed specialist. Active water, fire or storm damage routes to a separate restoration company rather than being absorbed into a handyman scope.

Work is routed by service address

Requests are assigned by the property address and the approved coverage of the nearest office, not by a mileage radius drawn on a map. If an address falls outside current coverage, the office says so.

From First Contact To Completed Work

The same four steps apply to homeowner requests and property-professional requests. Only the intake and reporting differ.

  1. 1

    Tell us what needs attention

Call, text or use the contact form. Send the property ZIP code, the repair or remodeling list and photographs when you have them.

  2. 2

    We review and confirm coverage

The office checks the service address against approved coverage and reviews whether the requested work fits a supported scope.

  3. 3

    Assessment and written scope

Photographs or an on-site assessment inform a written scope that states the findings, the work to be performed and anything excluded.

  4. 4

    Approved work is scheduled

Once the scope is approved, the work is scheduled and completed by the assigned crew.

Commercial Building Repairs For Property Management & Real Estate Professionals

Property professionals send grouped repair requests rather than single jobs, so their intake is kept distinct from the homeowner form. Typical categories include turnovers and make-ready work, punch lists, inspection corrections and recurring property maintenance across a portfolio.
